Quality Assurance Inventory Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our Distribution Center Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in the warehouse management system
  • Process consignment buy-over and conduct vendor audits of consignment materials
  • Adjust inventory value losses and gains, and reconcile consignment purchases or losses
  • Resolve store claims for damaged product or missing/overage shipments
  • Process new product or update dimensions of existing product into the warehouse management system
  • Assist vendors performing cycle counts of inventory
  • Handle returned merchandise that goes back to the vendor or returned material that goes back to the distribution center
  • Handle customer service calls from the stores, such as special order sales (S.O.S) orders, vendor calls, proposed product shipment dates, etc.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, or with a team
  • Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)
  • Experience performing detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • Experience using spatial reasoning to position product effectively
