We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Genius Business Solutions Inc. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality products and services that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry guidelines and customer specifications.
  • Lead the development of quality manuals, internal processes, and manufacturing processes to ensure effective quality management.
  • Develop and implement effective product test programs to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality programs to ensure that suppliers meet our quality standards.
  • Assure that material specifications and design validation programs are in place to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Maintain an effective nonconformance reporting system for production rework and associated materials, and purchased materials.
  • Maintain an effective Field Defect reporting system as well as a corrective Action and internal audit system that supports the continuous improvement process.
  • Maintain an effective PAR and CAR process.
  • Responsible for ISO Quality Management Program.
  • Manages the development, maintenance and enhancement of the ISO system.
  • Directs the maintenance and audits of the supporting documentation and internal systems supporting ISO requirements.
  • Prepares annual department budgets and quality objectives.
  • Controls costs within approved budget levels.
  • Responsible for internal & external cost of poor quality, scrap and budget costs.
  • Directs quality studies of production methods, procedures, processes, materials, purchased components, prototypes and new products as required.
  • Leads root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action formulation and auditing of implementation/ institutionalization.
  • Operates as quality champion and primary contact for customer and supplier quality issues.
  • Directs the quality aspect of new supplier approval and existing supplier performance.
  • Leads the major in house and field failure analysis process, documentation, and customer communication and presentation.
  • Provides data and data analysis for weekly/monthly/annual business reporting as well as customer presentations.
  • Acts as the point of contact for customer visits, witnesses, and audits.
  • Has the responsibility summit and follow up to closure the environmental compliance applicable to the site.

Requirements

  • An excellent team player with strong people skills; able to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal (logical and organized), written, listening and presentation.
  • Strong project management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong process analysis and documentation skills required.
  • Ability to perform principal responsibilities requires collaboration with other functional groups in order to gather information, make decisions and implement.
  • Use of statistical tools to resolve problems and targeting processes for preventative controls.
  • Balance technical knowledge and QA process management methods with strong consulting skills appropriate for leading change in the evolving organizational climate.
  • Must be able to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities, demonstrate good judgment and discretion when working with confidential information, and be self-motivated.
