We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Common Spirit. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and participate in the clinical and didactic portion of the Residency training program and successfully complete all assignments and requirements of the program.
  • Provide a wide variety of professional nursing services, focusing on the provision of quality patient care consistent with Common Spirit standards and values, applicable regulatory requirements, and scope of practice for the nursing profession.
  • Develop, implement, and assess the patient plan of care during time of stay in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and the patient/family.
  • Engage in direct patient care, including assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating work to members of the patient care team, and providing education and consultation with patients, families, physicians, and other staff members in implementing appropriate nursing interventions for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Healthcare BLS Certification.
  • Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit, is strongly preferred.
