Job Summary

Supports the delivery of professional, specialized nursing care related to Rapid Response Team for the well-being and comfort of patients; utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide care, documentation and teaching related to acute needs; and by implementing medically prescribed interventions related to acute care needs in defined population.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the delivery of professional, specialized nursing care related to Rapid Response Team.
  • Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide care, documentation and teaching related to acute needs.
  • Implement medically prescribed interventions related to acute care needs in defined population.
Requirements
  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.
  • Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing.
  • Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Preferred License/Certifications: Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS.
  • Required Experience: Five years as RN.
  • Preferred Experience: Three years Critical Care or Emergency Department experience, with Preceptor experience preferred.
