Key Responsibilities

Production Line Management: Create, execute, and sustain comprehensive production schedules for designated lines, ensuring they align with demand forecasts and production capabilities.

Resource Management: Streamline the allocation of resources, including workforce, materials, and machinery, to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime on assigned lines.

Status Updates: Compile and present regular updates to upper management, outlining production line performance, adherence to schedules, and critical metrics. Identify potential challenges and propose actionable solutions.

Process Optimization: Recognize and implement enhancements to production workflows, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity. Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational effectiveness.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management, to ensure the smooth execution of production plans and timely resource availability.

Problem Solving: Actively address and resolve production challenges, collaborating with production teams to mitigate risks and ensure seamless operations.

Documentation Management: Maintain precise production documentation, including schedules, reports, and process modifications. Ensure compliance with established guidelines and quality standards.

Team Engagement: Participate in production meetings and collaborate with planners and team members to align on project requirements, objectives, and updates.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in production planning, demonstrating a successful track record in managing production lines and achieving positive results. Previous experience in a senior planning capacity is preferred.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational and communication skills are vital.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in planning software and tools, along with a solid understanding of production processes and resource management.

Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable with heights up to 30 ft. and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
