Medical Laboratory Specialist

At Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, we are committed to providing the highest-quality clinical care for patients and making our communities healthier and stronger. We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures, including PCR-based molecular assays and executing tasks with attention to detail.
- Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
- Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, related life science, or applied science field.
- 1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting.
- ASCP certification preferred.
