Collision Analysis Engineer

The position of a Forensic Engineer within the Transportation and Collision Analysis division entails performing both independent and collaborative investigations to uncover the underlying causes of motor vehicle accidents or incidents through comprehensive analysis. This role necessitates a practical approach to engineering, integrating fieldwork with office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute in-depth investigations into motor vehicle accidents and related incidents
- Evaluate evidence and facts to generate comprehensive reports
- Function autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Respond swiftly to requests for evidence documentation
- Complete tasks with precision and in a timely manner
- Adhere to ethical standards consistently

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in highway geometrics, traffic engineering, or construction management related to highway projects
- Previous experience in engineering roles
- Experience in Forensic Engineering and collision analysis is preferred
- Possession of ACTAR or similar industry certifications is advantageous
- Experience in vehicle design or maintenance is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer with the capability to obtain licensure in multiple states as needed
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must successfully pass necessary background checks
Position Details
This is a full-time position offering some flexibility in working hours within the standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.

Physical Requirements
