Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of Wealth Advisors and assistants to achieve sales, revenue, and expense goals.
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow Assets Under Management.
    • Recruit, train, and motivate Wealth Advisors to cover key target markets.
  • Client Relationships
    • Manage a portfolio of client relationships, determining and recommending appropriate investment strategies and products.
    • Identify and attract new clients through centers of influence and strategic partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement departmental performance targets, including revenue, net contribution, product development, quality assurance, and compliance.
    • Partner with commercial and retail business units to deliver wealth management solutions and training.
    • Implement marketing strategies to grow IB Wealth and report on success.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Manage all aspects of the third-party broker-dealer relationship to ensure regulatory adherence.
    • Ensure all Investment Advisors and Licensed Bank Employees are trained on compliance and regulatory issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in investment sales and financial services.
    • Five or more years of investment sales experience in a bank or financial services industry, with program management experience preferred.
    • Five to seven years of human resource management/leadership experience preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Series 6, 7, and 24 licenses, life and disability insurance licenses for applicable states.
    • CFP designation preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent verbal, listening, and communication skills.
    • Superior presentation skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work with a wide range of Bank personnel and customers.
    • PC skills and ability to use software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
