We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Director to lead our Geriatric Supportive Care unit at UMC Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating patient care and nursing personnel on a 24-hour basis.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing personnel to ensure competent and responsible management
  • Manage unit resources to ensure cost-efficient and effective utilization
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Ensure compliance with departmental philosophy and policies

**Requirements**

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • MSN required
  • Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required
  • Previous leadership/management experience required
  • Med-Surg certification preferred and encouraged
