About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer II to join our Reporting and Insights team at Magnite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that process billions of records every hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Scala and Spark Jobs
  • Work on near real-time applications and join datasets from different sources to produce optimized access for multiple customers
  • Develop applications that provide deep insights based on data and optimize query performance for API access
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain large clusters of query engines like Druid
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working with data pipelines and data science
  • Strong passion for learning new skills and technologies
  • Experience in development of high-quality pipelines using Scala
  • Good understanding of functional programming and object-oriented programming techniques
  • Good understanding of SQL
