About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to join our team. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. This includes:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment in the guest room, including the bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces.
  • Stripping and Making Beds: You will be responsible for stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, and replenishing amenities and supplies in the guest room.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: You will be responsible for dusting all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves in the guest room, as well as vacuuming the entire room and emptying the trash.
  • Replenishing Amenities: You will be responsible for replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies in the guest room.
  • Signing for Room Keys: You will be responsible for signing for room keys, retrieving, pushing to assigned rooms, and restocking heavy carts.
  • Inspecting Rooms: You will be responsible for visually inspecting rooms for cleanliness and appearance and signifying completion for room.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to Detail: You will need to be able to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Agents and Equipment: You will need to have knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry Heavy Objects: You will need to be able to lift and carry heavy objects, including cleaning equipment and supplies.
