Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in the Food Division. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to meet product requirements and quality standards.
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing efficiency by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing processes.
  • Design and conduct research to evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain quality and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams to ensure effective execution of processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in high-speed metal packaging related to the manufacture or use of Beverage, Food, or Aerosol packaging.
  • Six Sigma certification in Green Belt or beyond.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to effectively solve problems individually and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and travel up to 60-80%.
Working Conditions:
  • Will be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting in a plant environment.
  • May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
  • May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
  • The noise level is frequently loud.
