About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at InnovAge. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a vital role in the development and delivery of our organization-wide learning and development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learning Experience Design: Design and develop high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners, including e-learning modules, facilitation guides, and training materials.
  • Curriculum Development: Create and manage instructional design project plans, using sound judgment to identify scope, delivery mechanisms, RACI, and deliver on timeframes.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with our facilitation team and subject matter experts to pilot, create, and assess new programs, and provide input on instructional design and adult learning best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Manage SCORM files and LMS software, and have proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), such as Relias.
  • Project Management: Balance multiple tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design within healthcare learner environments and front-line employees.
  • Experience establishing standardized ID program approaches that are repeatable and uniformed across all organizations ID functions.
  • Experience in working with complex topics, research, or source material.
  • Experience in working directly with subject matter experts and comfortable navigating a variety of personalities and working styles.
  • Must be computer proficient and possess experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications related to the business and L&D programs.
  • Must be able to manage SCORM files and LMS Software.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry accreditation Instructional Design Certification.
  • 7+ years of experience in Instructional Design within healthcare learner environments and front-line employees.
  • Experience leading a team within standardized ID program approaches that are repeatable and uniformed across all organizations ID functions.
  • Experience in working directly with senior subject matter experts and comfortable navigating a variety of personalities and working styles.
