Mental Health Specialist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Clinician to serve as Assistant Lead for our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
As Assistant Lead, you will be responsible for conducting confidential behavioral health assessments, developing solution-focused treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients in permanent supportive housing units.
- Elicit client participation in the development of treatment plans to address important goals and objectives.
- Participate in individual and group counseling sessions, using evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care coordination services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including case notes, treatment plan reviews, and discharge planning documents.
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of mental health treatment.
- Licensed in Georgia as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, sociology, psychology, or human services.
- At least one year of post-master's experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
- Strong knowledge of community resources and services available to support individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.
River Edge Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
