Job Description: As a Speech Language Pathologist I, you will be responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services. You will observe, evaluate, and document diagnostic and treatment effects, consult with supervisors on all pertinent matters, and participate in interdisciplinary activities.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include evaluating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing skills, providing direct treatment provision for speech, language, cognitive, voice, motor speech, alternative methods of communication, and swallowing disorders. You will also develop advanced clinical skills in areas such as aphasia, motor speech disorders, cognitive communicative disorders, dysphagia, augmentative communication devices, and voice disorders.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Science and Disorders, a current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA. Less than three years of licensure experience is preferred.
