Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Buck's. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and create a positive first impression.
    • Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance with product location, price, and other information.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling:
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Count and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.
    • Handle customer returns, refunds, and exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas.
    • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed.
    • Assist with visual merchandising and display maintenance.
  • Safety and Loss Prevention:
    • Report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
    • Follow company safety procedures and protocols.
    • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
