Job Title: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates. As a key member of our neurosurgery department, you will work closely with our well-established neurosurgeons to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for examining patients, administering medications, ordering medical and diagnostic testing, diagnosing illnesses, and counseling patients and their families. You will work in a fast-paced clinic environment and assist in surgeries under the supervision of a surgeon.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients and administer medications as prescribed by the surgeon
  • Order medical and diagnostic testing as needed
  • Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans
  • Counsel patients and their families on treatment options and outcomes
  • Assist in surgeries under the supervision of a surgeon
Requirements:
  • Active Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of WA
  • 2-3 years of Orthopaedic experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a preference for Neurosurgical experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
