Position Overview
The National Retail Brand Strategist will lead the development, management, and execution of our comprehensive sales strategy across both online and offline platforms. This role will oversee e-commerce operations and coordinate with the merchandise team for physical retail locations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, alongside a profound understanding of the e-commerce landscape, digital marketing, website management, and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the overall functionality of the website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns, assisting with product selection and promptly resolving issues.
  • Enhance product listings with comprehensive descriptions, high-quality visuals, and precise specifications to boost customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create concepts, layouts, and promotional strategies that align with brand objectives and drive sales.
  • Establish product pricing based on market trends, competitive analysis, and the company's sales strategy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers and logistics partners regarding stock availability and delivery.
  • Lead the merchandise department, providing guidance and support to achieve sales and operational targets.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales performance and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing initiatives to increase online traffic and sales, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Analyze website performance and customer behavior using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce and retail management to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Assist in the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies, including state/local regulations, security protocols, and dress code.
Supervisory Role
This position manages one subordinate manager overseeing a team of 4+ employees in the merchandise department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or three+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in retail brand management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-specific software.

Physical and Work Environment
The physical demands of this role include regular use of hands, standing, walking, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level and may involve exposure to heat.
