Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $33,600 per annum, based on an estimated 40 hours of work per week at $30-38 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

As an SLPA with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in enhancing the communication skills of students with speech and language disorders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation and support of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Creatng a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages communication growth and student engagement.
  • Working closely with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and provide feedback for instructional adjustments.
  • Integrating various teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and resources to meet the unique needs of each student.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with different teaching methods, accommodations, and assistive technologies.
  • Prior experience working with students who have diverse communication needs is preferred.
