Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Optum in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of making healthcare better for everyone.

About the Role:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients via telephone contact, following established standards and practices.
• Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and maximal coordination of efforts.
• Perform telephone triage and participate in patient teaching.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) with current NYS registration and in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or other clinical setting.
