About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at the University of North Texas. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive fitness community among students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead engaging fitness classes in various formats, motivating participants to achieve their fitness goals.
- Ensure a safe and supportive exercise environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with the recreation team to develop and implement fitness programs that meet the needs of the university community.
Requirements
- Current Group Exercise Certification from AFAA, ACE, or other specialty certification.
- Current CPR/AED certification or ability to attain through the Rec within one month of hire.
- At least one year of experience in group fitness instruction.
