About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team at the University of North Texas. As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive fitness community among students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Design and lead engaging fitness classes in various formats, motivating participants to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive exercise environment.
  • Collaborate with the recreation and fitness team to develop and implement fitness programs and services.
Requirements
  • Current Group Exercise Certification from AFAA, ACE, or other specialty certification.
  • Current CPR/AED certification or ability to attain through the Rec within one month of hire.
  • Group Fitness teaching experience of at least one year.
