In-House Service Engineer

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a highly skilled In-House Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support for our analytical instrumentation. Your expertise will be essential in repairing, installing, and maintaining our products, as well as providing technical training and support to customers and field personnel. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting repairs and product failures, and developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures for Shimadzu products. If you have a strong background in chemistry, electronics, or a related field, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. This non-exempt, full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $87,000 annually, paid semi-monthly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401K matching program and discretionary yearly contributions. You will also receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3 floating holidays in your first year, with access to a generous short-term disability program after one year. As a non-exempt role, you will also be eligible for overtime and double time pay according to employee handbook guidelines. Additional variable compensation may include a discretionary year-end bonus based on overall company performance.
