Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kraft Heinz Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic and electrical meat processing and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment maintenance, sanitation, and production duties as assigned by Technical Services Supervisor.
  • Provide technical assistance in maintenance of control equipment.
  • Maintain files, records, and logs concerning equipment, using SAP system.
  • Assist in start-up, testing and maintenance of systems with control equipment.
  • Assist in selection, requisition, and inspection of new equipment and spare parts.
  • Perform maintenance production and sanitation functions.
  • Perform electronic/electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment for operations and utilities.
  • Follow all plant policies, safety regulations and industrial hygiene regulations as a condition of employment.
  • Provide technical assistance and/or participate in TQM committees as requested.
  • Provide communication between Engineering and Operation teams as Engineering representative on operational teams/committees.
  • Use detailed steps in performance of all PM's by following steps and adding to or correcting when appropriate.
  • Keep work area clean and perform shop clean-up as needed.
  • Updates electronic prints to ensure changes & additions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in developing & delivering technical training.
  • Maintain an understanding of industrial PLC program.
  • Maintains compliance with KSRMP Safety Policies & Procedures.
  • Maintain compliance individually with performance against Maintenance KPI's.
  • This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Kirksville, MO, QRMP accountability document.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent technical school or college level course work.
