Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Gecko Hospitality in West Maui, HI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team, maintaining high-quality ingredients, and driving sales growth through exceptional team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase guest counts
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of high-volume kitchen management experience
  • Proven track record of success in controlling costs and driving sales growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
