The Sterile Processing Technician II plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment by ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of patient equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and organizes equipment and instruments for various departments
  • Cleans and decontaminates instruments and equipment using regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Operates semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers
  • Manages inventory, orders, and distributes medical supplies and equipment
  • Maintains records and files, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control practices
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related field
  • Certification in sterile processing or a related field (CBSPD, CRCST, CSPDT, or CST)
