Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced part-time Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dermatology providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room and intake patients, completing medical history, chief complaint, and review of systems.
  • Scribe for the provider, assisting with documentation and communication.
  • Assist the provider during MOHS and excisions, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Order additional testing as requested by the provider, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure all specimens are meticulously labeled, processed, and sent to the appropriate lab as needed.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments, maintaining effective communication with patients and providers.
  • Be willing to perform duties outside your normal job description when available.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating patients with warmth and friendliness.
Requirements

Prior EMA/Modernizing Medicine experience is a must. Ideal candidates must be self-starters, dependable, and able to work with a team. The drive to provide excellent customer service is a valued personal trait.

We are seeking part-time MAs with hours varying from Monday through Saturday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM. If you are a Medical Assistant with experience in dermatology looking to assist in true patient-centered care, OnSpot is the place for you.

Our highly trained dermatology providers conduct skin cancer screenings, biopsy suspicious lesions, treat skin disorders, surgically manage premalignant and malignant skin lesions as well as perform injectable cosmetic procedures.
