Job Description

We are seeking a Patient Access Navigator to join our team at Saint James Health Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for facilitating the navigation of patients through the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the best possible care and services.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting outreach activities, providing education to patients about available healthcare options, and assisting with enrollment applications. You will also collaborate with the Case Management team to create patient-centered communication and attend community outreach events and health fairs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach activities to educate patients about healthcare options
  • Assist patients with enrollment applications and answer questions about eligibility
  • Maintain expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program specifications
  • Collaborate with the Case Management team to create patient-centered communication
  • Attend community outreach events and health fairs as required

Requirements:

  • Exchange Enrollment Facilitator Certificate or complete training within 30 days
  • 3+ years of Healthcare Insurance Enrollment experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and efficient time management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel
