Job Overview: The Machine Technician will play a crucial role in the management and upkeep of machinery, alongside ensuring the effective handling and storage of materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess meticulous attention to detail, robust technical abilities, and the capacity to excel in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated sample-making systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure peak performance.
- Receive, assess, and accurately document incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Organize and oversee inventory within the warehouse.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet operational objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is advantageous.
