Pediatric Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our team at Chesapeake Oncology Hematology Associates.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work closely with our physician and nurse team to provide high-quality patient care in a low-stress environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to balance work and personal life while making a meaningful impact in the field of oncology.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer quality patient care in collaboration with our physician and nurse team.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognosis for patients.
- Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment as needed.
- Discuss cases with physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education to empower informed decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
- A Master's degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant degree.
- Current Maryland NP/PA licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure.
- DEA License & CDS license (controlled drugs substance).
- Previous oncology and hematology experience preferred.
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, with the option to work part-time based on candidate availability. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no evening, night, or weekend calls.
