Pediatric Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our team at Chesapeake Oncology Hematology Associates. As a key member of our oncology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Job Summary:The Pediatric Physician Assistant will work closely with our physician team to administer quality patient care, order and interpret diagnostic tests, record physical findings, and formulate plans and prognosis. You will also prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment, discuss cases with physicians, and provide patient education.
Responsibilities:- Administer quality patient care in a low-stress environment
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies
- Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognosis
- Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment
- Discuss cases with physicians and provide patient education
- Perform other duties as assigned by the physician team
- Master's degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant degree
- Current Maryland NP/PA licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
- DEA License and CDS license (controlled drugs substance)
- Previous oncology and hematology experience preferred
