Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the cleanliness of guest accommodations, communal areas, lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and dining facilities within the Riding Academy.
  • Manage inventory levels of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, linens, and uniforms.
  • Design and implement effective housekeeping protocols and procedures.
  • Compile reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive upkeep of rooms and public spaces.
  • Supervise payroll processes and ensure adequate staffing aligns with business needs.
  • Engage in effective collaboration and communication with other departments to foster collective success.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures as outlined in our operational handbook.
  • Promote positive employee relations through coaching, counseling, and ongoing training and development in line with company policies.
  • Oversee the procurement of all operational supplies while monitoring costs per occupied room to stay within budget.
  • Provide assistance throughout the hotel as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and sanitation standards.
  • Lead the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for new housekeeping team members.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction in all operations.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of senior management.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s) as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent communication with the front office, TACK Room, and engineering departments.
  • Manage key inventory and controls, conducting regular inspections of the hotel.
