Electrophysiology Specialist

Magnet Medical is a leading provider of healthcare services, seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C.
About the Role- This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week and 10-hour shifts, working as an Electrophysiology Technologist in a specialized clinical setting.
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and verification of patient information.
- Operate specialized equipment such as 3D mapping systems, electrophysiology catheters, and cardiac imaging systems during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the physician during procedures.
- Assist in performing intracardiac recordings, stimulation studies, and mapping of electrical pathways to identify arrhythmias and determine appropriate treatment.
- Provide post-procedure care and instructions to patients and their families, including care of the catheter insertion site and signs to watch for indicating complications.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and certification as an Electrophysiology Technologist.
- At least 1 year of experience in electrophysiology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per year, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, plus tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
