Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Telemetry Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical/Telemetry Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement education plans for patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license
  • Current BLS certificate
  • ACLS certificate
  • One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
