Role Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering direct care to patients as directed by the supervising physician or registered nurse.
- Assisting with medical procedures and monitoring patient conditions.
- Conducting lab tests and other assessments within the scope of practice.
- Accurately documenting patient care activities in medical records.
- Providing guidance and support to staff, students, and volunteers to enhance patient care.
Qualifications Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse or Vocational Nurse.
No travel is required for this position, and no prior experience is necessary.
