Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the cook in preparing and serving meals
  • Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • Food Handler's card required
