Position Overview

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a dedicated Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in various settings. This role requires a strong background in respiratory therapy, particularly in critical care environments.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • State License Verification: Required
Job Specifications
  • CRT or RRT Accepted: Candidates must hold either certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2 years in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
  • Licensing: Ohio RRT license must be current and available at the time of submission.
  • Submission Requirements: All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission process and interview.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients.
  • Conduct unit-specific competency exams and maintain skills checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with all pre-employment requirements, including background checks and references.
Additional Information
  • Must carry a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
  • Specific departments may require additional certifications.
  • Pre-employment physical and TB testing are mandatory.
  • Fit Mask certification is required within 12 months of starting.
  • All candidates must provide a detailed work history covering the last three years.
