Job Title: Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst

The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for generating, tracking, and submitting financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. This role is part of the RWA Close and Operations team under the Capital Reporting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and US Basel rules.
  • Support preparing different management reports based on US Basel rules.
  • Assist with financial and management reporting, planning, and analysis, metrics, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases.
  • Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of previous experience required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Python skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written) and confidence to work all levels of management.
  • Possess strong team building, planning, and work skills driven by process improvement.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Previous working experience with Risk and/or Finance systems in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must be a proactive and goal-oriented strategic thinker.
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
