Event Operations Director

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly skilled Event Operations Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional luxury hospitality experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our events.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences that exceed client expectations. A strong understanding of the hospitality industry, combined with excellent communication and leadership skills, is essential for this role.
Salary: $129,000 - $176,000 annually
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual who can lead our event operations team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and maximize revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event service, banquet operations, and staff on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
- Establish and monitor measurable goals for the department
- Oversee the execution of event logistics for all events
- Communicate effectively with property departments outside of event operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field
