Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for clients in various labor and employment disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Provide expert legal counsel on a wide array of labor and employment matters, such as discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, employee benefits, and labor relations.
  • Draft and evaluate employment-related documents, including contracts, severance agreements, and non-compete clauses.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and remain updated on labor and employment legislation.
  • Guide clients on best practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Manage administrative proceedings before regulatory bodies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships through effective communication and legal advice.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Active membership in the Bar of the relevant state(s).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple cases concurrently.
