Job Summary

ThedaCare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for scans using appropriate coils and immobilization equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast agents and medications as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and imaging protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
