Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Assist physicians with invasive procedures, color-flow ultrasound, and other scans as required.
  • Select and operate ultrasound equipment to optimize patient safety and reduce the likelihood of medical errors.
  • Enter test data and patient information into computer and ultrasound equipment to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasound school.
  • Registry status with ARDMS required for continued employment after one year.
  • CPR certification and maintenance of 30 CME credits every three years.
  • At least one year of experience in medical imaging, preferably in an ultrasound setting.
