Critical Care Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at West Chester Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to the healthcare team.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- 2+ years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
