Are you prepared to engage in a practical role where accuracy and craftsmanship converge? We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Machine Operator to become part of our innovative workforce. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in metal fabrication and are eager to enhance their expertise in a nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine job and production orders while interpreting related prints and drawings to ascertain job specifications, verify information accuracy, and identify any discrepancies or unique requirements.
- Select and confirm materials, processes, and equipment necessary for executing assigned tasks.
- Modify fabricating machinery in accordance with the required setup.
- Operate machines to fabricate various components and structures.
- Monitor machine performance and output throughout production to ensure optimal results.
- Capability to lift up to 100 pounds (with assistance when necessary).
- Regular standing, walking, and bending are essential.
- Vision requirements encompass close, distance, and peripheral vision.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and job specifications.
- Fundamental knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
- Basic understanding of operational procedures for press brakes and turrets is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining fabrication equipment and related tools, including scales, protractors, and gauges.
Starting Pay: $20.00
Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM · Overtime opportunities available
