We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Coordinator II to oversee and manage ongoing research lab projects related to Latino and immigrant health. The successful candidate will provide support to Dr. Ana Martinez-Donate in the Community Health & Prevention Department at Drexel University.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of intervention activities and data collection instruments.
- Manage the implementation of projects, including supervising data collection and data management activities across projects.
- Conduct data analysis using quantitative and qualitative software.
- Manage project team members and priorities, including coordinating and facilitating data sharing with project investigators.
- Oversee budget and purchasing related to projects, including initiating and maintaining regular contact with community partners and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols.
- Assist with training of project staff and students, and develop training material.
- Contribute to proposal and manuscript development and submission.
- A master's degree in public health or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 1-2 years of minimum experience in research projects focused on Latino immigrant health.
- Data management and analytical skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office and SAS/SPSS/Stata.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- An understanding of both quantitative and qualitative public health research methods.
