Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Specialty Clinic Coordinator. This is a full-time, day shift position at El Paso Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with delegated projects and assume managerial responsibilities, including supervision and evaluation of patient care and nursing employees.
  • Coordinate preceptor activities and develop, implement, and evaluate unit-specific systems/activities to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Provide clinical patient care to patients within scope of licensure and practice, utilizing knowledge of professional practice to provide age-appropriate care.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications.
  • Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a clinic setting or in a charge nurse role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
