Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Breeden Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination and management of on-site project administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide field administration leadership for the project, ensuring that costs, schedule, and quality are maintained at all times.
  • Coordinate material deliveries with internal resources and subcontractors, and prepare material takeoffs and management reports.
  • Communicate daily with the Lead Superintendent/Superintendent, documenting construction activities and progress through field reports and logs.
  • Assist in the buyout process and maintain project records, including plans, specifications, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Oversee and track warranty service processes during and after project completion.
  • Actively share knowledge and lessons learned from project experience.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of multi-family field management experience.
  • Exceptional ability to read, analyze, and understand design documents, blueprints, and Microsoft Project Schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions:

The majority of the required work will be performed in the field, with occasional exposure to wet, cold, hot, and noisy conditions. The employee may be required to walk, climb, sit, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Travel Requirements:

Daily travel to and from project sites is required. A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
