Project Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Manager to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful execution of large and moderately complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the project controls activities, including project plan documents, such as scope, financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
  • Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Oversee project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to successfully procure all required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree (engineering preferred) and 8 years of project management experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of project management experience required.
  • Up to 20 Percent travel required.
  • Experience managing large scale rail or propulsion project and experience working within production set up and delivery highly preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required or willingness to obtain it.
  • Process oriented mindset while remaining flexible in seeking innovative solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
