Job Summary:

PrideStaff Financial is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients. As a key member of our accounting team, you will work closely with our accounting professionals to create and analyze financial reports, ensure compliance with legal requirements, process accounts payable and receivable, process payroll, and manage invoices and tax payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
  • Establish accounts, post transactions, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Enter and reconcile AP, AR, payroll, and other daily financial entries.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Stay updated with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience working in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining deadlines.
  • Understanding of general accounting procedures.
  • Advanced accounting and bookkeeping software experience including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation: Up to $35.00 per hour.
