Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entitlements Specialist to join our team at Project Renewal. In this role, you will be responsible for advocating and maintaining resident entitlements benefits to ensure effective residential and treatment coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly advocate and maintain resident entitlements benefits, including Social Security, Public Assistance, Veterans benefits, Medicaid, Medicare, and HMO insurance.
  • Assess clients for all entitlements programs they may be eligible for and assist them in securing required documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date resource manual on changes in eligibility and documentation requirements for various entitlement programs.
  • Monitor entitlements correspondence and record keeping.
  • Provide off-site advocacy and collateral contact with entitlements representatives and local pharmacies.
  • Work closely with the Case Management team and Clinical Director to manage resident entitlement issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software (Word & Excel) and use of electronic case management & restorative services software preferred.
